Amy graduated from The Hartt School, a comprehensive performing arts conservatory in Connecticut where she earned a BFA in Music Theatre and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

She honed her powerful voice through years of intensive study withMarishka Wierzbiki and with Broadway musical directors Darren Ledbetter and Charlie Alterman.

Amy sharpens her comedy chops with The Pit Improv in NYC and comedy casting director powerhouse Jodi Collins.

Amy masters her craft with acclaimed acting coach Anthony Abeson. His work has been documented in the Emmy award-winning episode of the Bill Moyers PBS series "Creativity," and helped shoot a young Jennifer Aniston into stardom. Amy has also studied with renowned acting coach Ted Sluberski and legendary casting associate of ABC Casting, Marci Phillips.

Amy is a member of One on One NYC and regularly takes classes to keep her skills fresh and to cultivate relationships with casting directors.
